Well, how regular are the contractions? Do they go away when you move around?

With both of my pregnancies, I had the "bloody show" and gave birth within a day.

blood in your mucous plug only means that your cervix is starting to dilate. You might go later today, or it might be three or four more weeks, you never know.

if you feel up to going to the gym, you aren't very close yet. Go for it. Exercise is probably a good idea regardless. But don't expect it to speed things up. Make sure to stay good and hydrated, drink lots of water.

Brown blood is not bloody show, it's just old blood, probably from your cervix getting bumped during intercourse.Go to the gym if you feel like it, but try not to wear yourself out trying to get into labour. You definately do not need to start labour exhausted and dehydrated. Wearing yourself out will make the contractions more intense, but those contractions are not what gets a baby out.
