The Death of DOC???

The point of this thread is to see if anyone has recently acquired DOC because its availability has seemed to diminish quite a bit in the RC scene lately. Type the chemical name into google, type the CAS# in any of the major chemfind sites, follow all the steps in Ellis D's sticky, what do you find? NOTHING!!! After the recent closure of a major jap RC site (with an office in the US, initials E.T.). DOC is nowhere to be found! The 2C-(x)'s, 5-MeO-DMT, methylone, DPT, AMT, Dipt etc. RC sites for those chems are a dime a dozen, but the beloved DOCtor is completely below the radar. I wouldn't be so upset if the Jap site didn't vanish the day I was going to place my order. Am I missing something, is there a alternate chemical name I should be using? Even though I would be willing to trade by PM every single RC supplier I know of (quite a few were found in my fruitless DOC search) for a single legit source of DOC, that is not the point of this thread. I would be satisfied with even a hint, tip, breadcrumb trail to follow. Even if someone were to say that they recently acquired DOC from a site that is still active (E.T. is dead), it would give me the strength to continue the search...

Is there a DOCtor in the house????

 

So sad. I've been interested in DOC too, and have NO idea where to find any; for now, it seems, the 'net's empty. At least, as far as my limited abilities can determine.

That's a good question about alternate chem names to look for. Anyone? (via PM, if you don't want to give out the info publicly?

It does seem with the recent stuff with japan the last sources of doc for now seemed to of dried up, i wonder if japan will work anything out with rcs? who knows, but i would enjoy finding some new sources, lol

From many people's posts on here, bluelight, and the reports on Erowid, DOC, for many seems to be, one of the best psychedelic 'drugs' around, period. Not just one of the best RC's. Something easy on the body (as reported by many) and easy on the mind, but at the same time very intense. Many have put in on the same level or even higher than LSD. I'm sure many would disagree with that, but I dont here many people saying the same about 2c-(x), AMT etc. I think dosage is the key with this chemical. With many RC's the experience can be either heaven, hell, or something bland in between. I don't see any 'difficult experience' reports on Erowid (although I realize difficult experiences can be had on any substance). Even if DOC is over-hyped that can be a good thing when things such as 'set' are so important. If someone reads post after post of glowing DOC experiences, it makes them that much more likely to have a positive experience themselves. DOC is available, its just VERY hard to find compared to many of the more common and less 'enjoyable' RC's. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise as some stupid kid is less likely to buy some with mommies credit card and freak out or die causing all of the wonderful substances in PIHKAL and TIHKAL to become scheduled, but that is a constant threat with any RC.

 

^^And DOC was starting to find it's way on blotter, sold as LSD. Someone gets busted selling the stuff it's gonna get scheduled, and probably alot of other RCs with it. Do wish I'd stocked up on the stuff when the "P" site was having it's going out of business sale.

 

yes, some hippy hard head buys DOC thinking its acid, after an hour of no effects thinks its weak acid and downs another 5 blotters... Look what happened with salvia recently, some kid kills himself, happens to have used salvia and now they want to ban it. Eventually someone is going to fall off the RC bandwagon and the whole thing will grind to a halt...

Aside from earlyxsunsets, I can't find anyone with anything bad to say about it. But you're totally right, 11:11; sooner or later we're going to have an STP-style event with DOC and it'll be basically impossible (as opposed to just difficult) to find.

Unless you're trying to buy acid, in which case you'll probably be getting DOC....

 

where did you see that it's scheduled in canada? I remember reading that on Erowid myself but I couldn't seem to confirm it in the canadian list of controlled substances.

 

Yeah, that info was taken from erowid. I don't have my handydandy List of Substances Scheduled in Canada at hand, so I can't confirm either. I do think it's weird, though, that anything that's scheduled anywhere in the world ISN'T scheduled in the US.

Canada has no analogue act like the USA's. Some chems are scheduled (most of 'em, actually), some chems are covered under an "analogues and isomers" tag, and some aren't covered at all (yippee!).

And while I realize that most chems are covered in the US under the analog act, I was expressing surprise that your legislation-happy gov'mental agencies down there haven't specifically gone after certain chems that a number of other countries, including the one I live in, seem to have specifically targeted. I'M TERRIBLY SORRY THAT THAT GOT UP YOUR NOSE.

If you find everyone here so offensive, why don't you head off to 31337k3m5.org, where an IQ test is required before login, and nobody ever has to utfse, hm? There's a good pig.

 

BTW, 11:11, I can't find any chem with "chloroamphetamine" in its name under any Canadian schedule, but DOC is probably covered under Schedule III's clause:

Amphetamines, their salts, derivatives, isomers and analogues and salts of derivatives, isomers and analogues

DO* is garbage.

grandbaby: there have been MANY stp style events with all the DO*'s on paper, you just don't hear about it. I'm glad the shit isn't available on a wide scale. But I'm one of those "hippie hardheads" who ate a huge piece of tear and share only to realize it was a DO* when I tripped for three days. Back then, I didn't even know people were putting DO's on blotter and slinging as L, let alone they were even available on a wide scale. In the weeks to come, I started hearing LOTS of the same shit from people. Fucking garbage, absolute trash. Anybody laying DO's on blotter and selling them as LSD should be shot. No fucking joke, I've been to hell I'm glad I came back. I recently flushed the rest of that fucking poison down the toilet.


So my perspective on those shit drugs is a little different than other people's I guess.

 

Yeah, I was thinking about the mass one, the event in I thikn '67 where a whole whack of people were given blotters or pills with, like, 25 mg of DOM & told it was LSD. Tripping for days, lost in the mental universe, lots of folks going to hospital, etc.

I know people get DOx as L a lot, but it tends to be here & there, in smallish instances, and of course what are you going to do? Go to the cops about it?

But sooner or later there's gonna be a rave or a festival or something where 3,000 people are eating DOx having been told it's E or L... and then you're gonna hear about it something fierce, when 200 people need medical attention because they shot for the moon and landed in The Big Red Eye Of Jupiter.

You are so right: anyone giving anyone ANYTHING misrepresented should be shot. I don't "just want to get high"; I want to know exactly what I'm getting into, at what level. If I eat X pill I should be reasonably sure (within the wide variations that are endemic to every experience) that I'm going to experience Y or Z --- not G through T at Mach 10. The worst experiences of my life have been when I got something other than what I bargained for.

I don't blame you for being down on the DOxs, given your experience. But it seems that nearly everyone who has taken DOC intentionally, having researched the thing, and in carefully measured doses, has had a fantastic trip. I wouldn't mind a piece of that action.

There are a lot of drugs I have less than no interest in (DOI being one of them) and only a few left that are "calling my name."

 

i haVE done many rc's and DOC is great but not better or superior in any way to any other psychedelic..
