hi there, i owned threads for heads and it was going to prove to be an invaluble tool for me to use for my new workshops. i am working at a local homeless hostel to teach people to sew, in a workshop that will be weekly and last two hours or so. originally, i was just going to teach them basic sewing skills because i remember what it was like to live basically on the streets with no cash.... you need to know how to repair clothes! but then i thought nah, these people are people and they want to look good too. lets teach them some projects.

summers coming round so i thought apron tops were simple yet gorgeous and resonably cheap for the ladies to make. im hoping people are going to donate enough fabric to have a nice selection. as for the lads, i was gearing more towards customising jeans and jackets with paints or creating pouches or bags.

anyway... when i got kicked out of my mums house i left pretty much everything there, including my book. i paid a lot for that off ebay *grrrrrr* but whats gone is gone.

DOES ANYBODY HERE HAVE THREADS FOR HEADS and PATCHWORK EXPRESSIONS by Elise Clark ?

i really need this for my workshop which starts the first fri in may. i am willing to pay for them via paypal or if you wish to donate them that would be so fantastic, im sure i have something i could give you for them in return. fabric, british magazines, beads, charms..... whatever.

ALSO IF ANYBODY has any tutorials they have created on any simple clothing- wrap tops, halternecks etc. etc. basically anything interesting people that need some cheering up could do.... it would be super if you could let me use them for my class. you would have your name copywrited on it and credit would obviously be given, especially in a street magazine distributed around cambridge which is covering my workshop.

    thank you!

    nope I have neither....

I was about to suggest checking out a local book store to see if they can order it for you, or ebay...

*bump* i read a thread about these two books and i gathered from it that quite a lot of us own them. are any one of you's able to help me? i can provide anything in exchange, even if they are just copies. i do not intend to redistribute, and if it were a copy, i would re-write them in the form of worksheets for the class. please help my worthy cause?
