Im new to hydro (but not into soil growing) so i have some enquiries,
one being is that, in my closet setup the roots of my plants are to long so they pass the flowerpots and they are in the water all the time, i have the water tank with the solution under the flowerpots to make it easier for me (the lamp is on for 24/7).
Is this a problem? and if is not it will be a problem when i will change the life cycle to 12-12 (day night)?

Stick an air stone in your water tank to bubble oxygen into the water. It won't be a problem.
