I think you would look great with them, don't worry so much about everyone else's opinions on that though. Do it if you want it for whatever reasons.
you should keep your hair color, iv yet to see purple dreadlocks wich by the way is my favorite color lets get married
If you're that worried about the look, then regarding my personal views I'd say don't grow em. Naturally it's completely up to you, that's why YOU and only YOU should make the choice. I think they would look great on you, I must admit that I have never seen anyone with dreads where I haven't though "wow, that's just pretty!". Some people say that not everyone looks good with dreadlocks, but it is my experience that everyone does look mind smackingly gorgeous with dreads, so go for it girl
hahaha u dragged up an old thread ive told this story before about my freind that wanted dreads so badly, and went to the gathering with me asking everyone she saw to help her backcomb, but after 3 weeks of asking and never being able to get anyonbe4 to backcomb she 1 day was surprised to find she already had dreads well this is her... it took her just 3 weeks to get dreads naturealy while she was wastin time tryin to get some1 to do em for her...and they turned out beautiful...i havent seen her since although we talk at least weekly and i cant wait to see them again now 2 years later.. p.s. i was suposed to be movin in with her froday but wont be for a couple more weeks now
