Why, if no one has thought of it, do people go on and on about what heaven or paradise is going to be like? Palaces, jewels, virgins, etc... no one can know that.

 

Let's just hope it's more attractive than most of these modern housing developments, which IMHO are a blot on the landscape.

 

No kidding. You couldn't PAY me to live in one of those suburbs. I would like at least one tree in my yard...

 

I agree also. But even the older housing developments are pretty bad, if you ask me. Just an endless grid of houses, stretching away for miles, broken only by interstate highways and commercial retail outlets. Ugh. They even buried the creek that used to be around here. Better in a pipe than on the surface? ::shakes head::

Basically, the tragedy is that the trees, nature in general, is secondary. First comes us and our selfish needs. We need lights at night, so we can't see the milky way. We need power (oh so much power), so now we see a sky broken by tangles of wires. We need transportation and parking, so 50% or higher of urban space is nothing but flat concrete and asphalt, the rest mostly buildings and squares of uniform lawns.

Well, better stop this rant before I get carried away.

They haven't thought of it because they don't care or whatever, yeah, probably they won't go on and on about what heaven or paradise is going to be like? However, if they want to know a few info about it they can read quraan , Haddeths it depends on what they read, believe, etc Did you mean something else​
