Typical male name for NZ.

I am curious to what the typical male first name is for New Zealanders, like Bruce is for Australia and Mick is for Ireland?

 

i knew a guy from new zealand named john... i was good friends with his sister naomi, but i don't know how common his name is over there... hehe it's pretty common in the US definitely

When I called the New Zealand tourist agency a couple times once, I kept getting a guy named Ira. Prounounced Eye-ruh. That was a new one for me.

 

Rangi is probably the stereotypical name for a New Zealand Maori. For the white population maybe Fred Dagg?

OMG I totally forgot about Murray!!! When I was growing up our next door neighbour was a guy called Murray. He was a pig hunting, car loving, beer drinking, red blooded New Zealand male. He wasn't much of a talker either. How much more NZ male can you get??!
