where do they sleep? are they mostly nice harmless junkies i hate the ones that try to push some deal on me after saying "No thx" i mean like wich parts of town they usualy live in i understand that there are plentiful in rld but theres probably some place like with tents/crappy shacks in town they live in? just asking so i know where i probably shouldnt go to. or where can i get a cheap bike from a junkie =) i could buy a cheap ipod/clock while i am at it. i am looking forwad to see some dirty junkies they stay mostly indoors here so i cant have fun seeing em.
You're gonna run into junkies/street dealers mostly in the North section of the RLD along the bridges, off of Warmoesstraat and the South end of Zeedijk by Nieuwmarkt. I've never seen any "Junkie Shanty Towns" with tents and the like. Not sure where they go to sleep, maybe the Metro stations. I've found most of them to be harmless. The less you interact with them the better if you want them to leave you be. I'm sure you meant the "buying a bike and an ipod/clock" thing as a joke but don't get busted by an undercover politie in the process. I think it's like 160euro fine if you're caught buying a stolen bike. Just rent one and make sure you've got a couple good locks. It's like 7 euro per day max. Kharma can be your best friend or your worst enemy on any given day.
Im telling you i have yet seen 1 german laugh or get the joke yet. Too much music from Wagner maybe. or are still piss off from loosing the War.
At least the Japs laugh and Smiles . .......just dont turn your back on 1 of them. The only time Japs are safe is when they hold a camera "make sure is a fancy Nikon"
you see people shooting up all over,culverts underground car parks,desceding steps of a hotel...so watch out! my experience is when they are shooting up they are only interested in that but they may be the poor people who are begging. have some sympathy for there plight!
