    That's really true.

Yeah there are hicks in Canada, I go to school with a bunch of them. There's this trend there were it's really cool to be a hick. All the do is sit on the stairs in the foyer and yell mean shit at people.

wait a minute, those are rednecks and they don't know.
Wow, I am a non-believer, born and raised with non-believers and always lived in a society which says, fine if you believe, but don't bother me with it.
And I even know it is about his resurrection.

the hillbillys and the cajuns are pretty cool, the hicks are kinda like hillbillys and rednecks are... I dunno, it greatly varies from the hippy/redneck to the uber conservative psyco rednecks...

of course there are rednecks and hicks in Canada

I mean... look at Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba. Approx 70% hick-inhabited areas (including all the pissy little towns and weird northern areas)

Haha... I'm a weird concoction. I have many a friend that are rednecks... I can speak with a heavy accent when it comes to talking to people from around here.

I think people get "hick", "redneck" and "hillbilly" confused... as well as the cajuns and the gulf coast folks in the deep south. North Carolina has always been the least conservative state that succeeded from the union... and Asheville has been a left-leaning city for awhile. The civil rights act and all in '64 caused people who were victims of reconstruction to jump suddenly from Democrats to Republicans (who didn't support the bill). Alot of the folks in the mountains and Appalachians (People like Zell Miller, of Georgia... I'm sure many of you remember him flipping out at the convention) stayed Southern Democrats (my family is one that remained loyal) because there were no African-Americans or the Civil Rights Movement was not having an effect on the particular valley or town/area you lived... He's remained loyal since.

Now, there are alot of people that just watched Dukes of Hazzard and figured it'd be cool to wear t-shirts with confederate flags on them (an issue in Ithaca, NY caused the flag to be banned in schools due to this) and people who thought it was a nice thing to stereotype and turn into a fashion statement...

Then there are plenty of people in Alberta and such...

Other than that, I know plenty of people who can't differ Good Friday from Easter Sunday... and I had to inform some today.

Haha, there's alot of technical mapping that can be done.

Rednecks are cool if they don't have money. Then they start acting like they own the goddamn world.
