I would like to open by mentioning that the group formerly known as gangster desciples has for a while been converting to the name growth and development. Not all sects are following this radical change, but it has been set in motion. Gang members, or gangsters, are a funny thing these days. I have known very many of them over the past couple years. More so than I ever really should have been associated with. Regardless of their affiliation, they are very loyal people. Many of them truly believe in their 'street code'. If you go out of your way for them, they will do so in return. The problem I have, since I have known many actual gang members of different varities, is that most people sport colors to look cool or as a way for acceptance. They wake up one morning and decide they are a vice lord, or a crip. They're easy to spot as fake because they are the highschool and college kids who flaunt what they claim to be. The truest, hardest gangsters I have ever met do not often speak of it. They do not need to. Do not mistake some kid with a colored rag and a hand gesture for a gangster. Most likely they have never had an initiation, nor do they have a crew. When you see a gangster that is always by himself or associates with no other gangsters, then it is quite likely he is no gangster.
aside from when i was little in long beach and had to learn how not to be seen, not much experience with them.

dont understand what the big thing about is? why would you be intrested, theres nothing to em i've been to a few places and seen a couple people and never seen one of em stand up for nothing vs. another person its allways nothing or 4vs.1 its all bull i think. ive talked to a couple jsut to see what they had to say and theres nothing to em they dont even know what they are doing or why, screw em
i once was in a gang... yea.. it was probably one of the dumbest things that i've ever done... but it was a life lesson all in the same... how it came about was i was dealin pretty heavy at the time... my buddy was like shit you should get with this guy and whatnot start slanging with him... make big cash.. and that happened.. felt like i was part of somethin big at the time(young and dumb.. yea i know) so i was like yea alright whatever.. connec's.. protection from fools tryin to take my clientel... well yea.. things got sticky and hot.. i moved around alot tryin to get away from it.. and change my life.. and every time i moved back i got sucked right back in.. well its been awhile since i've done any of that gang bangin shit.. i still hangout with a couple of my close friends that are still involved.. but i try and keep them away from it.. and tell them its stupid.. and try to give them other options.. i got one of my best friends a job when i was manager just so he wouldnt get into that shit as often.. i now try and change the minds of my friends from what i have seen and done being in the gang life.. its not glam.. its constantly looking over your shoulder thinkin everyone is out to get you..
