I am now employed at Chevron and my job is to deep fry chicken, which is ironic because I am a vegetarian. Anyone else with an ironic job?
lol, I hate the public too and every job I have ever had is all about being with the public. The worst part of my job is when I have to break the long bone in the thighs before I cook them... makes me gag every time.
yeah, his name was bob...we used to beat the shit out of each other back in the day...one time he puked up an almost whole hotdog during class...
You have such interesting stories to tell Jerry... By the by, the people in your sig are really attractive.
im a simple man with simple humor requirements that is the doctor and rose from doctor who...fridays at 9pm on Sci-Fi
My friend Megan worked for Budweiser, and her mother is in the hospital with liver failure. Pretty dark irony that her mom drinks budweiser. She hasn't worked with them for months though.
an ironic job....hmmm, I smoke pot and I hook up natural gas lines. and rarely do I ever shut off the gas main. its not as dangerous as you might think......
You're not eating it. You are just frying it to a golden brown. You are frying it to a golden brown aren't you? Wait I have to come and try some and make sure you are cooking it the right way. You are veggy lover you know and I'm willing to come taste so you don't have to do it.
Chevron is actually a very green company...have you ever read "Collapse: How Societies Fail or Succeed"? Diamond (the author) talks about in one chapter how Chevron prides themselves as taking environmental issues very seriously.
just that I hate my job and am putting my notice in next week when I get back and if the hiring comitee (whatever the fuck that is) doesn't decide on me for this new position I am going to work part-time and concentrate on grad school over the summer and be content with just graduating. Also, I dislike people and work with lots of people and it gets so tireing and I am just a happy girl that I'm not going to have to deal with it anymore and can either look foward to this new job and finally becoming an adult or a lesser responsibility and regressing but having fun while doing it
I'm not saying that Chevron is a bad company, it's just funny that I can't bear the thought of eating meat but I have to spend every day handling it. All I do is cut chicken, roll chicken in batter and fry chicken. It's just kind of weird. Actually Chevron is really nice in some other ways, they treat their employees well and you get benefits and everything.
