I sold an embroidery machine. I had it serviced and used it before I mailed it to the lady. She emailed me 3 weeks after she got it to say the bobbin kept getting stuck. So I told her how to fix it. Then I get an email from paypal saying she is demanding a full refund 5 weeks after she received it!!! I know she did something and broke it and now I have to refund her! I am so mad my hair is falling out.

omg paypal and ebay can be a bitch. my friend sold his flute on ebay and the lady had it for like a month then sent him an email saying it was the wrong model flute and that he wrote it wrong in the auction. turns out it was a diff model but like the only difference betwen the two was this one little piece that absolutely didn't matter at all and the flutes sounded and worked the same. well, he gets the flute back in the mail at his doorstep one day and an email from the lady demanding a refund for the $500 and he already had spent the money that he got from it on college books. i'm sure she already used the flute and she contacted him after a freakin month. he said that he didnt accept refunds and that she bought what she saw and didnt tell him right after he sent it. well, he took his credit cards off paypal a while ago but now they are gonna like hunt down his credit card and shit. its terrible.

These days I usually only do direct pick ups. As long as the item is working at the time that is all I worry about. I only buy bargains.

SO the woman who claimed I ripped her off failed to respond to paypal in time and they have ruled in MY favor and say I owe her nothing and the issue is closed! She had 10 days to mail my item and she never did!!!!

    congrats!

I have never had problems with Ebay. I once emailed to someone (3 times) to buy a lot of beads, every time I got the reply 'need ot check stock, please patience'. But hey...if nothing happens, he won't get my money.

Shipping is a pain in the .... I will never buy if someone is charging 2 times or more over the actual shipping. A frined of mine once paid 25 euro for shipping, while the seller paid only 5,50 for sending the parcel. Not nice at all

I've got the feeling that more and more people are trying to get their money in by charging double-postal fees. You know, starting an auction at 1€ for something that is worth way more, and then charging 10 € for shipping which costs about 4.50....
Plus they don't have to pay fees to ebay for shipping charges....

I had someone on ebay (ebay name- angorasunrisefibers) wait a week and a half before shipping my item! No apologies, nothing. And I paid promptly I would not suggest them to anyone.
I also had someone leave ME negative feedback after 3 weeks of THEM not sending my item and them not responding to my emails. I had to leave negative feedback because to me, it looked like they were ignoring me. 3 weeks is not acceptable. So after I left neg. feedback they left ME negative feedback saying I was a terrible buyer, etc.

I am a seller also and would never do this to anyone.

I used to have an account on ebay with over 14,000 positive feedback. I listed items for ppl and well one man had me list a 1969 GTO that was suppose to be numbers matching. I had sold tons of his stuff before ($70,000 worth of heddon lures, a 1967 Corvette 427 4 spd car, 1970 396 SS Chevelle) well you get the picture so I trusted his word. The car gets sold, transport truck picks up and delivers it and wella it has a 1978 tranny in it. Well the guy wants his $18,000 back and I cant blame him, the dude I listed it for is like too bad and well I lost that account due to fraud and even after I paid for and had shipped and installed a matching correct tranny to the tune of $2189 out of my pocket. Yes for buyer and seller ebay can suck. Now Im new with like 160-170+ feedback, I feel so newb but I just buy on there now.

I hate shipping thieves, they charge 3x the cost and pack it for crap but thats life on there, just have to assume. I never gie anything but positive feedback or no feedback to avoid issues. My old acct was 100% clean, not one bad word about me, I could have died when I lost that account. Had I listed that car as me selling for another party and the claims were that of the seller and not mine I would have been fine but I trusted the guy. My butt still hurts on that one.

I think my shipping is reasonable- I charge what they charge plus materials (envelopes can add an extra dollar). I feel high shipping charges are just a rip off. There is no need to charge $5 for something that cost you $0.75 to ship.

something like that happened to me, i bought a beatles shirt, and the the guy tried to charge me $30.00 US for shipping...man i was PISSED. I didn't pay.

I also bought two outfits (within at least a yr from each other) from a woman on ebay and both times took over 3 months to send it. When i contacted her repeatedly she would always say her husband had sent it out weeks ago, and then when it got to my door, the send off date on it (that SHE signed) was 5 days prior to my receiving it.

oh and can someone please inform me, what the hell is wrong with writting with a felt tip????
