i saved some frogs from the lab today

    if this is not getting me expelled... :&
    ah well, they were sitting in a bottle and i freed them in a small pool in the lab...they're gonna find them but hey, they're getting a bit of freedom till they do :D
    they're baby frogs

    I remember we were doing a lab with those sugar-candy-peep things, and I "saved" a couple of those.

    you just deprived people of knowledge, i hope you feel good in knowing you made those people that much dumber and wasted school money

    You shouldn't be in biology if you're not prepared for the realities of the science.

    Maybe you should take Geology instead. Nobody feels bad for rocks. [​IMG]

    dude, killing animals is not necessary for biology. i've done disection. and i've done it on computers too. and the computers taught me just as much as the real thing. and nothing was murdered

    Well for entry level classes, you're right, you can learn as much from disection as you could from a computer simulation of it.

    Higher levels of biology, such as understanding how life forms reacte to stimuli such as medicines, do require live animals and not computers.

    yeah hes all to right, nothing is as good as the real thing, that statment applys to anything, i have to say this was not a very well thought out idea that only hurt alot more then it helped

    we have dead fetal pigs in jars in the science lab.. right next to my left leg. :eek:
