it looks good, but how many times has that "romeo and juliette forbidden love" thing been done? it's kind of getting old.
I was disappointed. They stripped the magic out of the story to do "realism," which could have been fine, except that the scenarios that they chose to replace the magic were so improbable that magic would have been a more logical explanation.
I think I like the realistic version better. Besides, there were so many versions of the story that rewriting something was necessary no matter what. There was never an original story manuscript intact. I really liked the movie. And the guy that played Melot, Henry Cavill, is so beautiful! Normally I'm not quite so awe-struck by appearance, but he's so handsome. Especially with that hair! Ok I'm done.
The little boy who plays young Tristan goes to my old school. He's so adorable! His eye's are even bigger in real life. But, I swear, the kid hasn't grown since I left, nearly two years ago.
I've heard good things about this movie. I like coming on these board cause I see reviews and what not. Speaking of the movie, are the main characters in any movies you know of? Did you all know the DVD is coming out the 25th of April?? I'm pretty sure you can pick it at any walmart or something. I think I'm picking up a copy for myself and maybe my friend for Easter.
It was alright... I had a hard time relating to characters who cheat, and there were like a gazillion scene cuts which made it hard to estimate the amount of time between scenes (Some are months, some are mere seconds) but eh, it's worth a look
I liked it. i don't like cheating, but i think the spin on reasoning makes up for it. I liked it quite a bit not as much as other movies though
Didn't like it much, he cared more about his kingdom and pride, than her. Not all that romantic to me heh.
