Cancer and Gemini...can it work?

Im a cancer and the guy I like is a gemini, can these 2 star signs work out. And also, I duno wat it is but alot of Geminis seem to gravitate towards me, for example, my cousin and uncle are both Geminis and the guy I like also, and I seem to get on really well with them too, why is this?

 

my b/f and I are both geminis. we match perfectly. sometimes it's kind of scary! My mom is the only cancer I know and she's a very caring person. Geminis can get along with almost every sign. I'm not exactly sure if cancer is an air sign, but if it is, then you two will match quite fine.

 

hehe, cancer is a water sign, very emotional, usually a good cook, and generally quite moody. depending on your moon and when you were born, other influences and such, certain geminis might match up with you. it could also be your disposition within the cancer spectrum - generally, geminis seem to be attracted to energetic people, although that's a pretty broad statement. most people are attracted to energetic people, haha, so that really doesn't help much.

i'm not sure exactly why geminis are attracted to you - there could be a thousand and one reasons . but i'd check out your moon, and if it's a fire or air sign (gemini, aquarius, libra, aries, sagittarius, or leo), that could be your reason.

 

just a quick addition - geminis can often really like cancers because it slows them down a bit, which is refreshing sometimes (i'm speaking as a gemini myself). cancers can speed up, forget about some of the darker thoughts that a lot of cancers have, when they are with a gemini. this may apply to you?

 

Haha definately been around enough of them to know that! lol I just had a thought last nite aswell about one of my ex bf who was also a Gemini. Oh and hey, How would I b able to find moon sign and stuff like that? I've forgotten where to look...thankz ace!

 

Well if these Natal charts are correct Libra is my moon sign, so that explains everything above i guess, but wat does having a moon in libra mean exactly? heh sooo many questions

hehe, it depends on the exact time of your birth, it's usually done by the hour. i don't have a book on me that has the moons, and i'm not sure of a particularly reputable website that has them... just keep searching!

having a moon in libra (i'm not an expert on moons so anyone feel free to correct me) would mean that you have some of the major traits of the libran character mixed in/reinforcing cancer characterists. for example, i'm a gemini with my moon in pisces, and thus I have some of the pisces characteristics showing up in me very strongly - spiritual interest, the water signs' classic emotional tendencies, and such. I would say the major libran traits are being argumentative (not necessarily bad, just looking for justice/truth), being very physically pretty (for some reason this is usually true), good communicators, and quite social beings. all of that flows very well with the gemini character, which is a master of weaving words and communicating. hope that helped!

Perhaps the Gemini's you are meeting have a lot of water(Cancer) in their charts and are looking to project their watery sides onto you. relationships born out of projection are not healthy relationships, I've been in too many of them, where someone wanted to,let's say, ditch the side of them they're not comfortable with, onto me. Never overlook the projection theory.
