food that helps you think

    i was just wondering if theres any food out there that can help you sit and think easier, like process your thoughts to make a good decision, or help you, say, write a song. thanks

    Green tea isn't really food, but it really clears your head and makes thinking easier.

    Apples will help you concentrate & yogurt, fresh fruit, and whole grains will help you bemore creative.

    isn't food but i once heard that chewing gum during tests and things like that helps you think better....

    yeah a peppermint type of gum is good for concentration and staying awake in short situations... they actually say if you're tired and driving or something to chew on peppermint gum and it really does work- better then coffee cause its without the jitters and stuff and it wakes up your mind too... but it doesnt last long....

    a good brain meal is whole grains- brown rice or oatmeal and fruits and veggies like a previous poster mentioned. something that really has helped me is FRESH juice... like from a juicer- which unconfentional fruits/veggies (other then just say... orange)- throw in some beets, carrots, cilantro, celery, etc....

    I drink it when I'm having a lousy day. I find it mellows me out enough that I can actually logically figure out how to solve a problem.
