Just made my first "hemp"-jewelry. I did it the first time today and I really love it. I'll try some more complicated knots soon.. Too bad they closed the hemp shop near my house So I could not get any hemp yarn. I had to use sisal instead and it's really not the same.
Nice. Was the sisal orange when you bought it? Pass the bracelet through a flame and you should be able to burn off the fuzzies.
I love the color.. Ive been wondering if you can do the koolaid thing that people do with yarn with hemp???? I wonder.. ahahah but then again I dont want a red ring around my neck!! or green for that matter lol
no... you can't. Koolaid only works on animal fibers. So, unless hemp is a type of bunny, hahaha... you are out of luck. Lots of other cheap dyes would work though! the jewelery is really nice!

Go to any craftstore and you can get it at any size and gauge. I go to Michaels, they have lots of beads and I bought two rolls of 400ft of hemp for 15 bucks.
