I absolutely believe in stealing that's bad karma... but I did take stuff home w/o realizing I didn't pay for it... At my old job we were allowed to put aside items in plastic bags with our names on it, and on payday, we pay for it and take it home. Well, wouldn't you know that I put aside my bag of stuff, and at the end of my shift, I just brought the bag home with over $150 worth of stuff in it I felt so bad, and knowing that inventory count was the next day and it would certainly be noticed that it'd be missing, I returned the bag to the store and then payed for it that day... lol so funny.
ah yes, and i've also stolen from a job where i hated my boss and i was GROSSLY underpaid for the work i put in.
i've walked out of the store, put my girls in the car and realized that my daughter was holding a piece of candy that i didn't pay for. gotta get the stroller out, put the baby back in, get kai out, walk back into the store and pay 65 cents for a piece of candy. fuck. i'll do it, though. i don't care if i'm at walmart and it's crowded. that shit haunts me. i'm so lame.
i used to be a pretty big klepto back in the day... when boston had the baseball all-star game in 1999, i worked at the fan-fare and walked around selling hot dogs and soda...i stole some money from that job, got away with about $100 one day...
OMG no I've never stolen anything in my life, well once but I told the pharmacist ' you wasted 2 hours of my time, I'm taking this' adn that was just a couple of years ago I work at non-profits so it would be horrible to steal I usually spend a lot on my kids and lose the reciepts and don't get reimbursed...damn organization skills but when I worked at nordstroms if I could have gotten away with it I for sure would have stolen some things because the store manager was such a bitch and I hated working there. I would have not felt the least bit bad about it
when i worked at mcdonalds i got busted trying to steal a tube of bigmac sauce. it was dumb. i was gonna get paid 10 bucks for the sauce too. fuck mcds
I worked for a fast food chain when I was 15, and used to lift a box of patties every once in a while to throw BBQs.
i knew a guy who stole like 50 tbone steaks from a place i worked then invited everyone from work over to a cook out . it was fucking hillarious. he didnt get in trouble for that either, he got fired for stealing someone else's paycheck
$250 buck ping #1 driver, sold it for 20 bucks ( actually traded, but i ant sayin for WHAT ) why did i take it? cuz when i asked if i could play a round with it they told me NO. their excuse? they didnt want it fucked up.... then a few days after i played.... it turned up in one of the rental club sets... so it got boosted... shoulda let me play with it huh?
i stole about 6 hours worth of pay today, as I spent most of that time on various job boards looking for jobs, etc
No, never have. I could see doing it though. My ego is such that I don't steal becuase of moral reasons, I just see it as petty. If I was going to steal something, I'd want it to be worth at least 20k, and require an elaborate heist. I also wouldn't do it to someone I respected.
I used to work at a gas station and stole petty stuff all the time. If I ran out of cigarettes before I got paid, I'd take them and then pay for them later. But a lot of times I 'forgot' Also when I started getting royally screwed I would take cases of beer all the time. My best friend worked there with me and we had a whole scam b/c we knew where the cameras were and would pretend we were paying with a debit card and she's hit the feed button so paper would print and I'd sign it and go. I don't think I would ever do that again though. I just knew the people I worked for were too stupid to notice
