Is it true that Pizza Hut's pizzas contain beef stock? I read somewhere that they did, but as I'm in the UK, I'm not sure if it's just the Pizza Hut in America. They do label their Margaritas as Vegetaran
    Does anyone know for sure?

I have never heard of that, however you may as well make your own for how much they charge for a veggie pizza. Also, UK ans USA chains may have different ingredients, so maybe that wasn't helpful.
They also cannot understand the instructions "do not cut" (because the knife has all sorts of cheese and animals on it that I don't want to eat)....
I posted a recipe for quick pizzas in the munchies forum.

Yea I don't think they realize how much nastiness there is on the pizza cutter! I am glad someone else has realized this!

Well I mean buying prinicple, you aren't responsible for that industry just because it gets mixed in with your food but nastiness...yeah. I ordered a cheeseless veggie pizza from them and it had a piece of sausage in it. I refuse to pay big chain pizza places that much for a shitty pizza that has MEAT in it.
there are some good pizza places here, and they have vegan options for me, yippee.

I'm pretty sure that's a false myth [about the beef stock]

Doooon't quote me, but I did check into it once because I heard the same, and I remember somewhere along the lines it turned out to be false. Then again, things can always change. People change ingredients in their products all the time.

I've come to the conclusion that I just either try to eat at places that clearly state they are vegan friendly, or I just eat my own stuff, because I've slipped up on too many things with extra added ingredients like egg or whey, etc. I never had a problem being faked with meat, as far as I know, but yeah.

Seriously, you just can't trust places like that, so if you really want to be safe, don't eat there.

And sorry if I sound bitchy, I'm not trying to, I'm just extremely upset that you CAN'T seem to trust anyone when it comes to someone preparing your food for you. Not to mention, I'm just sick of how unaccomodating the world is to veggies these days. There are TONS of veggies in 2006, it's about time we get some fuckin' choices at the places all our non-veg friends and family eat at.

It's a fuckin bitch for me to have to go out to eat with my boyfriend and/or dad or other family to find there's nothing for me to eat there, or to have to guess whether the people tell me the truth. Some of the people don't even KNOW, and they just tell you it's vegan because they *think* it is.

    *growls*

You can find a list of their ingredients right here.
Most of their dough has whey in it.

    the link didn't work.

Isn't their thin crust vegan? That's what I read somewhere.

I don't really care either way, I don't eat there. Pizza Hut is gross....heh
