if you are on a straight path and you are walking i like to close my eyes and relax its very good for acheiving inner peace
I'll do that when I'm walking to/from class. Espically w/ how nice the weather has been lately and when it's in the morning and most college students don't want to get up that early. It's so wonderful walking down the path to my class in the mall area (the green/tree area in the center of the campus) when it's not full of people around w/ the nice breeze and the sun just rising and then I'll close my eyes and just breathe the wonderful air. *sigh* Very relaxing.
throw in some pranayama and lose the shoes and you have yourself a very very healthy excercise indeed!
I feel so relaxed after walking, more if it's longer. I love when me and friend walk through this wooded area, it's so peaceful.
Ya really can't in KY, i can sleep and walk at the same time, but not without tripping over the sidewalk.
I do that alot...it is relaxing and joyful for the relaxation of the mind, body and soul, especially when in stress... I do it most often when I'm high or in the end when I'm tripping...soothes out the mind and gives you this amazing feeling of comfort and relaxation too...it's really good... Totally recommend it... and do it as often as you can too...helps relieve stress...
surrendering the sense of sight while moving allows my breath to expand like a feeling cloud around me interweaving with leaf, tree and cloud. Moonlit path and stars like dancing fairies seen within.
