    I love that song by Scott McKenzie and yeah I agree its gotta a Summer Hummer feel to it. Same with "In the Summertime" which I have no idea who sings and anything from the Beach Boys.

    oh so yes. I also love Santera - so summer.
    Northern Lights and Maybe Tomorrow (esp maybe tomorrow) by Golden Horse are total summer songs,
    I also love
    Moon In June Stuff by the Brunettes

    california dreamin makes stuff feel like winter to me, yeah, i don't know why.
    but I guess, lookin out my back door- CCR, Free bird/ tuesday's gone- Lynyrd Skynyrd, and any really old stuff like from the fifties and real early sixties used to listen to that every night with my windows open for like seven summers straight. . . awesome!!
