German as my mother tongue, English for about 11 years and French for 7 years, so it's only three in total.

I'm fluent in 5 languages (Finnish, Swedish, Spanish, English, German). I have ambitions regarding Irish Gaelic and Russian, maybe also Japanese (which I speak a bit) and Icelandic and some Native American tongue.

I've wasted a lot of time on learning things halfheartedly. Had I been a good student would I know much more but I'm lazy. I've spent a bit of time on Latin, French, Quenya, ancient Greek, and yes, Russian.

i speak and write two languages . english ? ha! yes , it is a second language . it's funny that my primary language is Universal , an international language and also inter-species to some extent . a dragonfly , say , has not so many symbols as does this human . she and i do not really talk about time . Universal is an old language . my family has not forgotten it .

macedo-romanian,"armanesti".it's a really twisted dialect of romanian, spoken by the folk from the Pind mountains (the "armanami").i understand that in recent history you had some trouble with a "general's dictatorship" from greece?that's when most aromanians/macedo-romanians left macedonia for romania.

English, French, and Spanish are my first three languages. With French and Spanish I can go anywhere where a main Romance language (i.e. not Romanian or Sardinian) is spoken and pick up most of it in two weeks.

I also learned a fair bit of German early, and came up with the pronouncement that English is to German as Spanish is to French, based on the words for "is".

Other languages are Russian, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, and Lojban. I'd like to marry someone who can teach me yet another language. :)
