ooh yep...i love how their business cards come with a card for you to fill out attached. they ask if they could give you a card, you say sure to be polite, and then after a brief introduction, they point out to you that there's a card for you to fill out attached. akward to say no. ehhhh...and then they do stalk you...keep calling you until you tell them to quit and go away.

Are you kidding? These are the people who are their bread and butter. They drool over a "freind" who can't say no, and most have no moral problems makng great deals of money from these people who consider them "freinds." It's not "fair' but their little seminars teach them how to target these poor people who are kind and can't say NO! to them. Sad, I know.

I see one of those damn Caddy's, I run. Same for the candle ladies and those chicks who have the Dildo Parties. Ugh.

what is so sad is each of those consultants (sales people) is considered a "woman-owned business" by state and national statistics, making it look like so many women have successful businesses.
THe fail rate on those is so high, and you have to drop cash to get started.

i personally think that no one honestly wants to buy the mary kay cosmetics- were they on a store shelf tagged with the price they are when sold by a saleswoman, i really don't think they'd be too popular. the success of the company depends almost entirely on manipulative sales techniques.

as i said before, i'm just glad i'm not the one selling something few people really want and no one needs for either happiness or survival....

I've seen worse. There was a boy in my college class whose mum sold Mary Kay. She got HIM to help her. He'd pester every chick in class, then mummy would come to get him and he'd introduce his "friends," and on that basis, she'd start. He didn't get many friends.

Apparently the women seemed ugly to him and in need of makeup. Oi.
