    I kinda liked high school

    is that awful?

I mean... the drama that went along with it I could've gone without, the whole infighting cattiness that happened in gr 11 and 12 was silly

but I liked a lot of my courses, liked a lot of my teachers. My school was pretty good about having courses that weren't just intelligence based, weren't just memorization and regurgitation. we had welding, electronics, woodworking, mechanics, home ec, commercial cooking, drafting, etc.... I took coco (commercial cooking) and it was soooo much fun. Make food every day and get a credit for it, hell fucking yes!

I also really miss that I didn't try at all in my classes and still got 80's

I used to skip a lot when it was sunny out. Hang out at the beach and drink beers.

But highschool was a blast for the most part. The drama was pure entertainment, better than TV.

I didn't even have to skip... in gr 9, our science prof was very pregnant and very uncomfortable, so at least once a week she'd send us outside to study (ie play beach ball infront of the school)

I meant entire days. I was a model student.

Actually, if it wasn't for my provincials I never would have gotten into university. But, I learned it is possible to absorb 4 entire courses' worth of knowledge in 2 ritalin-fueled weeks of studying.

High school was nice for me. I enjoyed it. I was the intelligent, musical, foregin kid. The teachers loved me, my peers loved me... and it was just nice.

I do enjoy college more though. It feels like a sex and drug dazed vacation here in Arkansas. High school was so much more difficult on so many aspects. I do miss smoking with my philosophy teacher, or going shroom hunting on the great honduran mountains with my AP Lit teacher.
