high was pretty lame for a while
    these are my four classes:
    Intro to Psychology/Sociology
    AP Latin: Vergil
    Internship with a teacher
    and Foods 1

intro to psych...is just hilariously easy, the teacher doesn't know how to teach it, doesn't really care about letting that show, and sort of submits to student request
AP Latin really isn't hard at all, but after 3 years of the jolly old spaniard of a teacher, he finally goes all out Anal in this class, sigh
my internship is with a teacher who remembers to do stuff about as much as i do, so he's pretty slack, half of the time, it takes me 5 minutes to grade anything (if there is anything) he has for me, and then i leave
and foods 1! finally, we started cooking, so that makes me happy :)

As soon as I graduate I'm going to college for visual arts, and then jazz. Wahoo. My twenties are going to be soooo killah!

Ya know, me and my mom were talking about school the other day and she basically said, "Well, Ashleigh, the only reason I make you go is because you have to but I don't put that much weight on the importance of highschool in relation to intelligence" and I was like, "Jeez mom, you said it." It was a great conversation.

i think the worst part of high school isnt the classes. its the social structures in it.

Social structure, meh, it doesn't bother me. I just find the whole make up of it excrutiatingly mind numbing and dull. I usually just jig and go to the library or for a walk. Its funny, the teachers don't really mind. They support my, um, unorthodox approach to learning mainly because I do have really great teachers. They're the flakes of the system.

i used to leave class and go to my best friends class and sit and talk with her for the hour in her class. :)

most of the people i knew at my school learned how to get away with never going to class. ... one teacher even let us leave campus..

what seems cool about american high schools is that you can choose your classes ...

Because here, i have a fucking lot of classes i gotta take ...

    There is :
Religious Culture and Ethics (with a dogmatic asshole)
Math (you can choose your class but you gotta pass it if you wanna pass your year)
    French
    English
    Education to career choice (E.C.C)
    History of Québec and Canada
    Physical Science
    Sports
    +
an optional class (i took cinema but it's not that fun)

    besides courses required each year
    which really is only english
i only needed english and us history to pass this year and graduate
i failed us history last year because i was a slacker
    lol
    oh well

I chose easy courses for this term
    1) Political Science (I'm the only one taking it in the school, its online and full of a bunch of conservative Bush-Loving Harper-Supporting Gay-Bashing people)
    2)Canadian History
3)Math 113 (which is taught by arguably the biggest Bob Dylan fan EVER)
    4)English 112
    5)Media Studies

    VERY EASY!!!

I just kind of dismiss it. I mean, if you can't change it then ignore it.

Yeah, after a while you learn to accept that it's never going to change and just move on.
