First time alone?

Hello all- i am thinking about trying LSD for the first time, and i was wondering, do you suggest i try it alone?

I have had plenty experiance with marijuana (daily smoker), and have shroomed a few times as well. Tried salvia a few times also. I am pretty confident in my ability to handle things alone.

Question is...since i have never tripped on acid before, i don't really know just how much it will distort my reality...will i be in control enough to not get in the car and drive? Etc, etc...otherwise i think i will be cool doing it alone.

Any and all opinions are appriciated.

sober people suck when you're on acid.

you should be totally fine. psychedelics make you impulsive, so you just have to remind yourself to NOT get in the car and drive somewhere...

 

will i have enough control to remind myself not to drive? i have never tripped, so i really don't know...if it is anything akin to the shrooms, then i know i will have enough control. i think i should be fine, just checking in with the experianced crowd. thanks for the comments.

Unless you really had to go somewhere and you kept thinking about it, I doubt you driving will ever cross your mind. In fact I doubt you would even want to drive if you had to.

 

Youll be fine man! I took 2 good quality hits not to long ago in my room. If you into the glowsticks/blacklight environment set those up. Hang some from each blade of your fan, have your blacklight, your music, some buddah and your set! Youll have a damn good trip too, but I suggest going outside to explore a bit or set up a chair outside, changing your environment is key to a different trip setting if one doesnt feel all too comfortable. Also I recommend hopping in the shower when you start to feel the upcome of your hits (approx. 25-30 mins after u taken). Taking a shower in my opionion was the best way to start the trip nice and fresh feeling. Then you get out of the shower look in the mirror and check your eyes out . Youll have fun! Enjoy! If you've tripped pretty good on shrooms before then you'll probably be fine on acid.. I think they are completely different in some ways but in other ways they're fine. I think if you can handle shrooms then you could handle acid.

 

plus salvia.. u can definitly handle it, with or w/o a buddy.. but i would have to say trippin with soem chill friends is way better then alone

 

if your into the psyconautic side of LSd than you have to be alone really, but if your lookin for fin than people should be there (cool people)

 

i like sober people when on acid. it makes me feel secure. for the first time id reccomend a sober person.

 

yeah make sure they arent people that will be like "oi man you head is bleeding everywhere"

 

Yeh totally agree, if they anent good friends or will fuck with your head for your first trip, it will totally put you on another tangent with them that you wont understand until you actually "figure out" what tripping really is (thats if its your first time with psychedelics). Peace.

yea find someone who trips and is willing to sit with u.. then again, most people who trip would hardly be content being sober watching someone trip... hell like that one guys sig said for a while..

Sober people can be fun or not fun - it's all about their personallity. One of my friends was a total dick when me and my dude were chillin, doin that "fake trip" thing. God that was annoying. There were also some other people we hung out with that night that were absolutely awesome to hang out with, they were just askin questions like "whats it like?" and when we said that we couldn't explain it, they moved on and we told stories and had fun.

My friend and I had "sitters" who were "responsible" for us, but the shit we've had wasn't all that great, so we were never so far gone that we didn't know what was going on. There was a severe bending of the fabric of reality, but not to the point where we would have walked in a busy street or tried to drive a car.

My friend and I were probably a bit overconfident about it, but I think that even having another person there with you, even if they're as bent as you are, can help you deal with situations. I'd say, at least for me, being able to take one experience and bend it to see how other things might be, trip at least once in the company of other people to get a feel for how things get.

Of course, as other people have mentioned, shrooms are (apparently) similar in nature to LSD. I hear that the effects are more "spiritual" or "earthy." However, my tripping buddy had done shrooms a few times before and said that it did not in any way prepare him for LSD.

My advice is to be with other people first, then make your decision. No need to not take precautions.
