I'm kind of freaking out.

Last cardmarking I had all B's and two A's, and on this report card (which will be coming any day now) I have a D in Alg 2.

I did all the extra credit and everything. *sigh*.

Well, I got a new math teacher this card marking, and he keeps giving us these big huge tests with a small amount of time to do them. I usually don't finish, and end up getting D's or F's. I understand the material, but I always take my time on tests, and yeah. Then I found out, with his grading scale, tests are worth 75% of our grade. My friend was having trouble in there too, so we both did a bunch of extra credit, which pretty much just saved me from failing.

Math and science are the worst...and for the most part pointless (what you learn in high school anyway)

 

Hmm, if hes not giving you enough time to take the tests then you should talk to the principal or somthing ... especially if a large majority of the class can't finish on time.

and we have interum reports
there are 2 9-weeks a semester haha

 

Yea, I usually have a high A in algera, but this report card is probly going to be a C

 

Ah, you live in Michigan too. So, if your books are anything like mine, there way diffrent than last year. Last year the books were way harder, but this year its a little juvinile. And repetative. This is my second year of algebra, I passed last year, but because it was an advanced class and I didnt get all A's (I did get straight B's though) I had to take it again. I think thats the only reason I am getting A's this year.

I agree, i suck at math and science (except biology which was cool) but i gotta pass physical sciences to have my high school diploma ...

 

Consider yourself lucky, I'm failing 11th grade. And all because I'm lazy.

 

Not being lazy has nothing to do with luck.

And don't worry, one report card, expecially in grade 10, means exactly jack shit in the long run.

 

I wish I would've fucked around more in Grade 10, because it means nothing today.
