is it that? or is it from the result of people trying to find alternatives so that they dont pay as much... leaving people who dont want to look for alternatives to pay because sales are down so prices are raised so not to take a cut
I think most of us don't realize what the problem is. This is important and next time you think about your expenses or budget, your bills or things you wish you have ( basic stuff ) think about the next question which should and I say it again, IT SHOULD wake up the voice inside you: WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHEN YOU READ THAT THE GAS WHEN UP, THE ELECTRIC BILL IS HIGHER OR YOUR INSURANCE IS GOING TO INCREASE "ONLY" 10% ? I will tell you what you have done every time you hear or read something like that, NOTHING. You are being push to the edge, but perhaps is ok for you because "you can take it". Now, what about your family who needs your resources? I say, don't you think it will be better to give your family that 10% ? Fuck it, that 10% will be better in your wallet, so you can buy those things you dream of having ( basic stuff ). Basic stuff that won't have because you give away that 10% so easy, but maybe you can just work an extra 10% to compensate for your lost, then work another extra 10% next time they raise your bills, gas or basic stuff. What are you going to do today to stop the price increases?
see thats what i dont understand about some people just because gas seems to be so important to her she is complaing about what she deems an unfair price increase. but if its cigs or booze she is all for an unfair price increase.
if anything, gas prices should be raised higher to discourage use. it is a limited supply, after all. go opec.
i agree. and i just hate those people who insist driving a car when it's only a 15-minute walk, causing all the traffic jam. i usually ride my bicycle 200 miles to the neighboring cities, it's a great fun. they missed their lives
i'm a long distance runner/public transit user myself, who is unsure why I should subsidize your fuel usage.
in my country, buses have privilege. they have their own lanes and im proud of it. often on a bus watching doomed private cars. i heard some countries still haven't a bus-lane, sorry for them
I don't know about your country, but in Canada transportation is a provincial issue. It varies by province/municipality.
lol come to puerto rico. many people use cars but it is still also very common to see people on horses. i myself take the kids to school via horse and wagon since we cant all ride one horse. but i do own a car also. and gas is upto a .64 down here from the .27 it was just 2 years ago. but Pr has the highest cig tax in the nation, i am told even more than NY has.
Stick a windmill on your house... hehehehe http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?fr=fp-tab-web-t-1&ei=ISO-8859-1&p=windsave&meta=vc%3Dhttp://www.guardian.co.uk/renewable/Story/0,2763,1493913,00.html http://www.energytech.co.uk/Windsave%20140105.htm

I think the US goverment is well a head of me and you.... http://www.usea.org/T&Dreport.pdf http://www.usea.org/publications.htm He is more likely to seek interconnectiveness with south america [as it's closer].. though thats maybe unlikely at present..... maybe canada ??? i dunno i have only thought about it for 20 minutes or so..
many power companies will purchace power generated by others from them. i know the eletric compnay i used to have in missouri did it was a coop also and we would get a refund check back based off money ernd above what was required for expences. wasnt a bad deal.
I think power companies are required to buy power from you when you are providing it. But, in a power outage, you gotta watch out, because you will end up killing someone.
You must be either rich or have no car, or if you do, nowhere to go, perhaps and electric car, there are always exceptions to the rule, but if you read carefully, if you watch the news, if you look at the people around you, their financial situation, then you may be able to understand what this topic is all about. It seems like the proposal on increasing cigs and liquor gets you excited, I bet you don't drink Sometimes is better no to say anything, this is to get ideas about how to get money out of things we don't really need ( like cigs and booze ) so we (by this I mean all of us ) don't have to pay the consequences of the price increases for all the basic things such as education, health, insurance, housing, transportation, gas, electricity and food.
no i dont drink i see your complaint about the rising cost of items but i do not see your logic in unfairly taxing one group over another. our goverment does it all the time and it is not right nor fare. and probably one of the largest reasons for class warfare. people no matter how much or little money they have resent having to pay for an item than anyother person does. or one group being singled out to foot the bill for others. like the twinki tax in one state its not right and is just another way for the goverment to divide and conquer us.
