Well I was walking through the woods today looking for a good grow area and I found it. It's only 3 miles from my house, very hard to get to but I guess thats a good thing. you need to get down a steep cliff and cross a water barrier thats even harder to get to. Its on a peninsula but its so over-run with 10 foot high thorn trees you could never spot anything growing inside of it but a lot of light still comes in. The only thing im worried about is that I saw a lot of deer shit, other than that it should be a great season.
JUst use the spray that keeps deer away i dont no what its called but i stole some from my friends mom and used it on plants neer a swamp were many deer passyby and they didnt even go near them
I have a little dilema here, I started digging holes today and found that the water tables only 2 feet deep, I know 3'+ would be nice but it's a swamp and probably wont drain that good . I was thinking of doing the mound techinque to compensate and also found that a 3' by 3' hole takes a massive amount of soil. I was planning on 25 - 30 plants, so how many would fit adequitely in 1 of these sized holes?
1 hole, 1 plant. Buy pots if drainage is a problem. Just mount the pots up on wooden crates or rocks or something to space between the pot and ground so that way they can drain.
