not entirely sure why i'm posting this..oh well. most kids sleep with a security blanket or teddy bear or whatever when they're little...but i still sleep with mine. not really sure why...my blankie's just been on my bed for as long as i can remember. i'm thinking that maybe i should be embarassed about this, but i'm not really....
nothing to be embarassed about. i still sleep with my baby blanket (security blanket) at home, and i'm closing in on 21. i dont' have it at school cuz i don't trust people here and i think they would take it. but i do have a cookie monster that playes the trumpet on my bed, plus a sesame street sheet with the alphabet on it at school. so yea....
awesome! i'm not the only one then.... i have two beanie baby stuffed animals i sleep with, too...and sometimes minnie mouse sheets with pink ruffles and green polka dots
my exhusband wouldn't give me my hand quilted baby blanket (and a bunch of other things) when i had left him... he put it all in storage and didn't pay the bill.. it got auctioned off
I have a few security things. My fat teddy bear, Beary, the first bear I ever got as a child, my 101 Dalmation puppy Wizzer that I got for my 9th birthday, my ducky blanket that my brother bought me for my 18th birthday, and my Sqush pillow penguin (you know the animals and pillows that are silky and filled with tiny styrofoam-sort beans) that Daniel bought me for my 19th birthday, Ephrim. Hehe...so, don't feel bad. You have one security item, I have 4! But when I stay with Daniel, I usually only have one if any of them, and it's usually Wizzer or Ephrim, because I've got a security boyfriend! lol.
hey i want one of those... only problem is that i'm currently in a state of self- imposed singleness! boogabah, i'm sorry about your baby blanket...not sure i could deal with the loss of mine....
i don't know how i forgot to grab it when i left him. this blanket i used to carry with me everywhere.. just incase my house burned down while i wasn't home
Oh man! I know exactly what you're talking about! I do that with certain stuff, too. Not so much as I used to, but sometimes I get really worried that something is going to happen to one of my really special things while I'm not home.
