I want to start the brownie making process soon. How powerful/obvious is the smell when extracting the THC through heating butter? Any suggestions on time and temp? Thanks
Ok.. seriously.. we need a stick thread for this... or a subforum for Recipies..... 1 stick of butter + 1Tablespoon Water to 1/8-1/4 of weed Method A: Melt butter in pot... on simmer.. if you have a thermometer... check the temp of the butter and make sure the butter is no hotter than 180F... simmer for 30-60min... strain with either metal strainer or cheese cloth... put in refridge and cool.. use whenever you want Method B: Take stick of butter and 4 cups water... bring to boil... add weed... simmer for 30min... put water/butter/weed in bowl... and refrigerate... the leaf matter will settle and the butter will sit on the top and harden... also the water helps filter out any other chemical you may no want in your body
it may not smell depending on a few things, ventilation, fan, oder cover-up. but as a general rule of thumb, YES it will smell.
