I dont want to judge someone that I dont know, but I dont think I could ever care more about a pair of shoes than dying inocent children.

I totally agree. I had no idea converse was owned by nike, that means my shoes were made with child labor, which sucks real bad. :(

Converse... owned by Nike? Jeez... my list of boycotted brands gets more immense. I'm sure there's plenty social and environmental irresponsibility/immorality that I'm inadvertantly supporting with my spending that a bit of research would uncover.

Whats even worst is consumers that know about that kind of stuff and continue to buy products and be ignorant. The ones that really piss me off are the ones that say, 'it dosent effect me', that drives me nuts.

I get that special kind of anger every time I see someone fueling up at Exxon or Mobil. Since the price-gouging petroleum giant has crawled its way to the top of the Fortune 500 list and netted a PROFIT of $36 billion (yes, billion with a "B") they could spend some of that ill-gotten fortuine and clean up Prince William Sound!!!!

Join the BUY-cott! Buy all your gas at Citgo. All the gas there is from Venasuala. (I just had to add that, sorry for side tracking)

I'd rather find a way around having to use gasoline at all but thanks for the heads up.
