I agree - The first time I set foot on the grounds I was blown away. Not many places in this country have the vibe of Live Oak- music and energy soar. - It had Gregg Allman speaking in tongue last year - as a sho nuff cajun witch doctor telling of the Guilded Splinters- Did ya'll hear about Derek Trucks Bands trailor with most of everyones instruments being stolen -. Many special pieces gone - Their site has a list - if anyone hears anything they would welcome the info I'm sure - Say Hey Now! if you see me I'll be the guy in the tyedye blowin BIG BUBBLES

 

Are there usually vendors selling tapestries and all sorts of random crap there? I wanna know cause if so I need to get my friends stuff (a lot of them are moving soon...cause it's their senior year, so they want stuff for their dorm rooms and want to give me cash...but I don't want to bring it unless needed)

So yeah, that answer would be great...thanks!

Wanee rocked hard! It was the perfect mix of folks, artists, weather, and what sounded to me, like one state of the art bad-a** sound system. The vibe of love was strong with bands like the Wailers hitting it hard on the Marley/Tosh "Get Up Stand Up" and "Wake Up And Live" among others, getting even the stiffest of the stiff moving in rhythm. All of this and a perfectly sunny blue north Florida sky in what may be the best venue in the state. What could be better? I think Wanee may end up being the best fest this year.


BTW-anyone get any of that totally sticky stinky KB? Was that the bomb or what?

 

Yeah I did actually haha (about the KB)

The weather was perfect the whole time...a little hot during the day, but the super-soakers kept things fresh haha

Yeah the Wailers fucking jammed...Mule was great when I was tripping haha
