i'll give you that at least you looked something up. but try using real sources. if i'm not allowed to use that as reference for a college paper, than i dont think its going to be a convincing argument any other place either.

I'm not responsible for writing a thesis for you. Your opinions on wikipedia aren't particularly imperative to me, and despite what your professors may think, wikipedia refrences almost all statments made on it.

I also refrenced GlobalSecurity.org which is a very well respected defense resource online.

You seem somewhat hostile for someone who has not contributed anything to this thread other then asininely challenging wikipedia as a refrence.

I'm not being hostile. I havent put my opinion on people wearing the shirts cause I dont give a fuck what other people wear. I'm sure if I did, I'd contribute to that part of the thread. And I don't care about arguing about Che because I think the argument will lead to nothing and I hope to keep as much meaningless negativity out of my life as possible.

I just think Wikipedia isn't a real resource when I could perfectly well go edit out stuff. Or put things in that aren't necessarily true. I do use the website to quickly look up a lot of things. But I dont take what all it has to say as true. Usually I just scroll down to the bottom to find websites about the subject I care to learn about.

I wasn't trying to attack your argument. It could all very well be true. But I just don't agree with using that as a reference. Itd be as useful as me going "Well I took a course in college on it, so I know better."

 

You won't find Marx's ideal revolution situation in very many places. Most have too large a middle class. Or aren't industrialized enough. Or have had communist neighbors (and don't want to follow their lead).

 

thats why it's imperative to keep up with new theory as well (ted grant or alan woods for example)

Dammit man!! Read my posts carefully and entirely. I hate it when people don't and then comment and get things wrong!!! THE PHRASE "COMMUNIST COUNTRY" IS AN OXYMORON BECAUSE THERE CAN BE NO SUCH THING AND THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A SOCIALIST COUNTRY. ALL THERE HAS EVER BEEN IS STALINIST COUNTRIES LABELLED "COMMUNIST" BY WESTERN PROPAGANDA. I hope you can read that. Also, the working class is still the majority in most European and North American countries, and in the conditions that I think are necessary for revolution to be brought about, a sizeable part of the middle classes will have lost their wealth.

What have you done or are doing to try and make the world a better place? I'm not saying that you haven't done anything or that I am a noble spirited person, I'm just curious

I donate $20 a month to Human Rights Watch. I'd give more, but I don't have a lot. I send campaigns online and letters to my Senators about human rights abuses.

I got my friend elected to vice president of student council, and helped start a campaign to collect food for the batttered women and children shelter in town. I get a couple of people every Thursday and go around my dorms looking for supplies to donate.

After I finish my degree in political science I'm going to go to language school in California to learn conversational Chinese, after which, I intend to go to law school and get an LLM in international law.

After which I wan't to move to China and work as a human rights lawyer within the country. And hopefully not get abducted.

I'm not a saint or anything, It's just what I feel is best.
