    Well that's not true at all. Syd smoked pot, ate mushrooms, and he did a shitload of acid. There's a DVD called "Syd Barrett's First Trip" it's him tripping on mushrooms outside in england. My friend is reading a biography on him and it said that Syd was the first person in England to be arrested for lsd when it became illegal.
