Hi Mr Mush, I believe you are refering to Calea Zacatechichi. Used by the 'Chontel' Indians. Calea is native to a small area of southern mexico in the cloudforests. Check the website in the signiture for more information.

Mugwort and Wormwood both contain thujone, which does make you slightly drowsy, but at the same time things seem more 'vivid', i've experimented with lucid dreaming before using mugwort, it does make dreams more vivid, however, everytime i become aware that i'm dreaming i wake up...

yep Celea is the right name to it.

i would suggest buying the EXTRACT - not the plain leaves -, they don't work that well - ... slight buzz but nothing special really. also the taste is pretty horrible, but after half a joint it passes. (don't smoke with tabacco, only calea herb).

i wouldnt be so sure buddy

"Used traditionally in Oxaca Mexico amongst the same tribes who use Salvia Divinorum. The Indians claim that it clarifies the senses, creates a general sense of well being and induces spectacular dreams.

Calea increases the frequency of lucid dreams but not automatically. Instead, dreams usually become more realistic and memorable to the individual. A controlled sleep study showed that ingesting Calea tea before bedtime increased the number of dreams recalled. This phenomenon is the result of Calea activating the 'Memory Continuity Facilitator' in the brain which prevents the mental “jumping“ around from place and time in dreams.

    Effects:

As a side effect, Calea can also produce feelings of well-being that can continue for one or more days. At lower doses, Calea produces a mild euphoric feeling that is similar to cannabis. At all dosage levels, mental clarity and time lagging is usually experienced. Currently there are no noted side effects from using Calea.

    Dosage:

Calea can be smoked or made into a tea

For more information on Calea, please visit out Calea Zacetechici resources page.

  9. Yeah, i know what you mean.

I have read about Calea in my "Plants of the Gods Book"

But seriously Mugwort is known as "The Dreaming Herb". It has been used all over Asia and Europe for thousands of years. It was employed by witches and sages as a dream inducing substance.

Oh yeah...I think Calea might actually be known as mexican mugwort.

So technically we're both right ;)

  11. I've tried it. Its doesn't work that well.

Trippi, if you can get to a happy high herbs in sydney or melbourne you can get it there. It might work in high doses. I still need to experiment. Do you have any hippie shops up in the hills? You should be able to get it there.
