    Found this in my search http://www.missoulanews.com/News/News.asp?no=1081 but its about the 2000 montana gathering, but the upper right hand dates says 3-30-06??? a little late :) Anyway I continue for information and media reports about 2006...

    That's a pretty good one. now we're wondering if we had anything to do with the the 'Bob Dylan is dead' rumor.....made tea in AZ, that we called 'Bob Dylan Tea'; and in PA, it became 'Dead Bob Tea'.....but it was Bob Marley tea in PA..........

    That´s probably the best article I´ve ever seen written about Rainbow, by anybody, ¨outsider¨ or ¨insider¨. Thank you so much for sharing it with me. This makes me fiend even harder to get to the Colorado gathering but the chances are pretty slim. I´m studying abroad in Spain right now and need to find a job when I come home in June. The odds of a job giving me that much time off after only a month working there are pretty slim....ah well. Perhaps some folks might be planning a NERF gathering for sometime in August? hmmmm?? Perhaps in Vermont or New Hampshire???? hmmmm hmmm ::nudge, nudge::

    I think I holdthe record as first reporter in 2006 to mention the Gathering.
    Really, were busy with a bus strike, political corruption, highway expansion/ toll lanes, weathert, avalanches... and its freaking April. Wait until mid June.

    do we really want every little Boulder hippie planning THIS far in advance? and alerting every single possible law enforcement agency and protest happy church? Or do we just want to do our thing?
    Trust me, until a locale is announced, only bored local reporters will care.

    I dunno? I think no mater how much time in advance the authorites have the Gathering goes on, I mean unless they actualy road blocked the highways and interstates, its going to happen and even that wouldn't stop it, just re-direct it. Even with the location announced 2 weeks in advance is plenty of time for the athorities to do whatever they wanted...IMO. Anythings just a phone call away. But yes, paitience... Sigh..... :)

    that's authorities (and we have some kick ass forest Freddies here, I met them at New Mexico in 95 and they say they volunteer for the Gathering annually)
    I'm talking all the crap that makes the trek turn scary.
    Let's leave Bennett, Colorado in the dark with their jeezus freek opera hating paranoiacs in the dark as long as possible.. and Fred Phelps, too.

    note: there are three cool people in Bennett.
