So I'm wanting to experiement with DXM, but at my house the only stuff we have contains Guaifenesin and Pseudoephedrine along with DXM. I went to 2 pharmacies and the only stuff they have contains DXM along with Guaifenesin, and tomorrow I shall go to the supermarket along with other places in the area to check those stores out but the thing is I live in Brazil, and I really don't think I'll be able to find anything with DXM only. So I'm wondering about how Guaifenesin and Pseudoephedrine affect you, and mostly guaifenesin? Help? Thanks in advance!!
So I found more information on it all, and it seems like the Guaifenesin shouldn't be too bad, but I'm still about low in information about the Pseudoephedrine...Any thoughts?
pseudoephedrine is a vasoconstrictor (hence why it's a decongestant in cough syrup) and stimulant, an adrenergic (stimulates the body's production of adrenaline). It'll give you a speedy feeling, and is not something you want to take a lot of. psuedoephedrine is used (via reduction of pseudoephedrine) in the illicit manufacture of methamphetamine, but is not quite as toxic in the quantities used in cough syrup. i'd search for an 'extraction of DXM from cough syrup' procedure.
I believe the Guaifenisin (sp?) is used to help prevent you from taking too much, in that it will make you puke. Could be wrong, just what I've heard second hand. Robitussin gel caps have only DXM, try to find those. Or even better is Zycam spray, the night-time formula has 500mg in one nice, tiny, horribly disgusting shot.
guaifenesin is the expectorant; loosens up phlegm. the Robo capsules are indeed just DXM and ... uuuuggghh.. *shudders*...i have that spray; it is hellishly bitter, with a lingering bitter aftertaste.
horrible aftertaste. The last time I drank it, I stared at in the glass for an hour working up the strength. It is fun, though, and if you puke it is only a little bit and clear.
guaffy is not something you want to ingest in large amounts and neither is pseudoephedrine. the thing they add to stop you taking to much is often sorbitol. it can give massive diaroeah. if you cant get just dxm and its your first time, you can always just take the bad shit, but youll prolly have a bad experience and give you bias about dxm that might not be based on an effect of the dxm at all ps. when you think of the negative effects of these chemicals, dont just think about the painful stomach, nausea, cramps, and discomfortable relinquishment, but think also that all this is going on while youre off your face on drugs
