well i feel ridiculously sheltered, i just learned it's legal in all of canada for women to go topless. i thought it was only in ontario, but apparently i was mistaken. this changes everything! i wouldn't walk down the street topless because there's a lot of crazies out there that would make me feel self conscious, but i'm finally going to say goodbye to boobie tan lines. how many of you knew about this? i feel like the only one in the dark, here. and do you take advantage of this law (or lacktherof)?
yeah, i knew about it... but i am Canadian. In Saskatchewan, no one really takes advantage of it, in public at least. I used to sit topless on my 3rd floor apartment balcony, or go topless at the local semi-nudie beach (some go in bathing suits, but further down the beach are the nakeds... i always sat in the middle somewhere). My friend gardens topless. but women don't just walk around with them "out" if you know what i mean. Unless you go to a folk festival... then there are the prerequisite rainbow painted boobies...
I thought it was only Ontario too who knew? Still ain't planning on exercising it, but s'ok (bf lives in condos, too many people... crazy man lives in my basement, don't want him seein nothin if he comes out)
the only place i'm really going to do it is when i go to a lake or a park. t'would be a little awkward to do my shopping half naked or something like that.
It's been legal in Ontario for over a decade.....I have yet to see a topless woman. I heard few of the younger girls did it at first because it was new.....I would imagine they got such a perverted response from the menfolk that they never did it again. I do see a few at the beach, but that's it....not walking down the street or anything. I sure as hell wouldn't do it.
That's really awesome! I guess maybe though most of you wouldn't do it, at least you have the option...
I did hear a woman tried it in I think Toronto, and ended up getting arrested for disturbing the peace or something similar (she caused a couple car accidents, lol)
