Marijuana: Will it ever be legalized?

even as late as 1969 Woodstock concert did not get raided by federal boys today it would had turn into a Waco like Massacacre . they prob plant some stolen weapons and consider it a terrorist group under the Home Security Act.

 

I think it will be legalized. Look at the progress that's been made with medical mj. And Denver is another good example. Pretty soon people are gonna figure out its not bad for you and people will vote correctly.

 

Does anyone ever really think about why it should or why it shouldn't be legalized? Does it really matter if it is or isn't? You still smoke whenever you want. I don't know about you guys but I walk down my street and smoke and no body says anything. Also, if it were to be legalized it woul be turned into shit. No body would be growing it and selling it straight from the plant. It would start being made in factories by marijuana companies and have all these added chemicals in it or it will be shit and will take like an 8th just to get one person high. Legalization would just help all the greedy fucks out there that base there life on making money and nothing else. Also it would start a huge contraversy. They already have comercials about not smoking marijuana, not smoking cigarettes, not drinking alcohol. It wouldn't be good. The point of everything i've said is, Do you really think pot should be legalized? Or is it just something that you say and don't ever think about? It's been said for years that people just say it with out even thinking about it. Don't get me wrong I do smoke weed and there are times that I would love it to be completely legal. But there are a lot more cons than pros of the whole legalization of marijuana thing.

 

Of course it would be good. People wouldnt be arrested any more. And even if it was shit, you could legally grow your own. And I do doubt it would be shit because if it was people wouldnt buy it.

 

Well, in my country it is *more-or-less* legalised, so i suppose that it is also possible to legalize it in other countries, shouldn`t it?

 

well first you can still be arrested for it which many people i know have, spending thousands of dollars in legal fees and the bullshit you get after that with probation and jobs, if you apply for a job you have to put down you have been aressted for drugs. if weed where legal people would be saving money because we wouldnt be paying the towns and the government for marijuana related bullshit, also why wouldnt people grow if it was leglized i know i would, and making marijuana in a corporation might just be a good idea, that would create compitision for better quilty weed,if they made weed were you have to smoke an 1/8 to get high they would go out of business, and the company with the better weed would take over, this would also make alot of new jobs.

 

One can only hope it will be legal soon!

 

Theres no right answer. Everybody has a different position. Why argue on it? Yes people are getting in trouble for it. I don't know. Why can't everyone just be happy? Why can't we all just... get along?!?!

 

defenatly a dream for society to hopefully embrace. I recently read an article about how the war on drugs really has shifted to the war on marijuana, as it is the easiest for law enforcement to go after. sickening.

 

It will be legalized when the people stand up and demand legalization.
In a democracy government is supposed to work for the people, not the other way around.

 

Will Marijuana ever be legalized? I hope it will. but the chances are slim that it will be in my lifetime. There is not any proof that ive seen to say marijuana is harmful. People are not killed by "high" drivers every year, they are killed by drunk drivers.
