haha this brought me back to my algebra 2 days when we learned how to do half life problems....haha back in the good days when i understood math

which reminds me, does anyone know how to do calculus? some homework helpo would be greatly appreciated

Well the half-life like i said, depends on the conditions of it's environment.

Where are you gonna store your bud when your not smoking it?

In a box? Mason jar? In a shoe box in your closet?

Somewhere dark, cold, and air tight I would say a week or two, maybe longer.

You could keep it in the fridge and it lasts even longer.

 

i dont know where you read that but its totally incorrect, no isotope will disintegrate half its atom.

the definition you are referring to is the time it takes for a quantity of an isotope to lose its radiation (ie, time it takes for half the atoms to lose a few neutrons)

and thats not the 'actual' definition of half-life, it is merely 'an actual' definition, and the most commonly used one, but clearly not the one in use here, nor the only one.

as for the posters first question

as reefer says, it depends on factors of storage. other factors he didnt include were whether your bud is dry when you get it or moist, whether it is big bud or small buds or shake or ground weed etc, and then whether its airsealed, temperature, exposure to light etc


you can store weed for weeks in a saddy and it can still have more than half its potency.

but really, how about you tell us what youre intending to do exactly and your answers could be more accurate

 

I just hold my weed in a zip lock beg, which is held in a carved out book. On the top shelf...

Like I said before, I just want to know when i should smoke my weed before it loses most of its potency.....

first - in that set of conditions weed wont lose any noticable potancy for months

second - half life does not have to involve anything radioactive, that is just what it is most commonly used for (ie carbon dating, etc)

third - u assholes on hipforums need to leave.. the people like sirtokes who are sarcastic and think they are the kings of weed at 15 really ruin the forums, also smokindude doesnt need to provoke him

Given that, when someone gives you a hard time (I took it as a joke) about not getting laid, you don't have any room to act like it shouldn't have been said or was out of line.
