I saw my ex boyfriend today... We talked today for the first time after 3 years... He became this really cool guy that makes you laugh a lot, and he is so incrediblly funny and sweet... I couldn't belive it... I dumped him for no reason.... And now i see him... So adorable... Makes me wanna split myself in 2 parts, so i could kill the one that wanted me to split up with him.
You are not necessarily an idiot. May be he just being polite. I mea when people just start going out they are trying to impress each other,or just be polite in front of strangers. Once I saw my ex too, we talked for a while and I was very nice and funny, I did not judge him. I was saying "good for you", and "i am appy for you" to everything he was saying. It is my opinion, but you know better what happened.
well like you said you have not seen him in 3 years and there is a big difference between 16 and 19. ( I am assuming he is the same age) So don't beat yourself up about it.
blech, i think we all got ex's that we look back on and think "what if i'd put more effort in/not been as hasty to finish" etc.... like the Dancer said, live and learn..... plenty more fish in the barrel and so on....
well if your single and hes single maybe there is a chance that yous could get back together. Talk to him more and find out!(if you think its worth it)
Yeah why is it that everyone just brushes it off and says go for the other fish. I mean i guess it would be a little akward but if you really didnt have a reason for breaking up in the first place, and you really think hes positively changed his personality, and makes you really happy then why not? I mean i guess i would like to hope things like this are possible and maybe im just wishfull thinking but i feel its worth another shot.
I've always followed the mantra of: "An ex is an ex for a reason." I personally, wouldn't go there, but that's my opinion.
I just have to write this... I saw him a couple of days ago... It seemed like the end of our relationship all over again... I wanted to go to my favourite coffee place (he hates that place) We saw a couple of our friends... He started talking to my best friend about Judas Priest (i hate judas priest).... I kinda remembered why we broke up....
