stomach pains from drinking?

I was wondering if anyone else gets a pain in their right side when they drink (between 2-5 beers). I guess its not really a pain as much as it is an annoying, uncomfortable feeling in my right side. It didn't start happening until about a year and a half ago. I know that my mom has an allergy to beer, so maybe its that? Should I see a doctor for it?
