I keep getting pop ups that tell me I need to repair my registry. They pop up like every minute or so and it is driving me insane. I have done a registry scan, a virus check and checked for spyware and its all clear. What else should I do?? I really can't continue working like this and I have a have essay due in the next two weeks so I really need to get it sorted out! Thanks for any help you can give me!
You could start by clicking on Start/run and enter regedit click ok. That might tell you what file is the problem. You may have to reinstall something. But someone else might know more about this problem than me. Keep checking back here.
Are you receiving this message from Messenger Service? If so follow these instructions. Go to your control panel and select "Administrative Tools,' then 'Services' once the window pops up scroll down to 'Messenger' and disable the service..
Is it just when you're surfing the internet, if so any paticular sites, and what browser do you use (internet explorer/firefox etc)?
Whithout knowing which Operating system you're using 'twould be difficult to say what to do, but if your getting that many messages the next step should be blow out old OS and reinstall a fresh copy.
Could you tell me how you fixed it, i've had the same problem for a few months and it' so ridiculous. When i use the computer for the first time each day i have to sit and close all the boxes that popped up overnight, it takes forever.
