I'm a Peaceful person who is really pissed

I had my laptop stolen and I would like to strangle the person who stole it.
I called the police reported it stolen and they suggested that I post it on Juststolen.net a free service police officers started. I did a search and came across an article :http://boston.metro.us/metro/local/article/Web_site_looks_to_recover_stolen_property/1243.html

I was able to post it and I'm still extemely angry, what else can I do ?

 

start looking for a used or a new one .

Where was it stolen from?

 

The one thing that pisses me off the most is when someone steals from someone. You have every right to be pissed!

 

Stealing form someone and violent crimes (Including murder and rape) are the worst, man. It shows someone has no respect, or they are filled with hate.

But it is material though. If he/she didn't steal it it would eventually become completely outdated, broken, lost, or something else. Nothing like that lasts forever. Something that temporal isn't worth getting yourself too worked up about, and deffinately not worth hurting someone over.

But I would be pretty angry too, because that isn't cheap. But just look on the bright side of things too. It will make the bad part seem not-as-bad.

Software security is an important issue nowadays. But hardware security isn't discussed as much. I'm sorry for your loss, but have a suggestion for you. Did you know there is a way to protect your laptop so that if it's stolen, it's location can be found when the thief uses it to go online? Kind of like a laptop lojack! There's zTrace, CyberAngel, and Computrace. If you are planning on replacing it I would recommend you read this Microsoft article on 9 ways to protect your laptop while on the road. It has links to the above mentioned programs as well as more good tips. You might want to do a google for laptop security programs. Stolen laptops can be a nightmare for businesses with info theft security concerns, so I'm sure there are more out there and better ones coming out all the time, as companies get more savvy.

well me personally i don't think i hate all types of theives i guess there could be different types e.g. Robin Hood

Well you are very clever *wow - shakes your hand* and you might be partially right because theft term given to someone who steals someone’s possessions (well that's what Robin Hood did) but intends to keep it for themselves or sell it (well I did not do that) - well then again i might be wrong-oo


Well maybe i should have said that i don't really mind people who have to steal if they have tried to make a living but still suffer financially.

I had my laptop stolen too last year,and what I thought at that moment was just like yours.
But anger can change nothing,so try to make it easy.
Money will come and go,but happiness and health will not.
Maybe a new computer will give you some fresh feelings of your life.
