Take two teaspoons plain yogurt, a teaspoon sea salt and a teaspoon ground oatmeal.. mix it together with a fork. massage gently on face until cheeks get rosy and then leave on for five minutes. remove with cold water. it makes your face very soft and evens out your complexion. i love it.
ooh i'm going to have to try that! i love any sort of make-your-own stuff like that...making soaps, lotions, and cleansers never seems to get old, and i'm always looking for new recipes. unfortunately, i think i enjoy the making of the product more than actually using it!
haha i agree.... ive been buying some books with different recipes- with everything from shampoo, conditioner, astringents, bug spray, eye cream, moisturizers, masks, scrubs, yah... all kinds of stuff- its fun. ive also been buying a lot of different carrier oils, escentual oils, and other ingrediants. if there is a certain type of recipe you want and cant find let me know and i might find it in one of my books.
have you ever looked through any of the books by janice cox? i've got Natural Beauty for All Seasons, and it's got some good recipes
