I was watching my neice today, packed all these toys and she would rather play with my cats toys then hers! She was just in aww of these things but wouldn't want anything to do with the cat.
hell, kai just likes to unwrap things to see what's inside. i could take some toys out o fher toybox, wrap them, give them to her and she'll think it's the coolest thing ever. clothes for xmas? AWESOME! garland in a sack? AWESOME. little bitty cat-toy mice? COOL! she and dishy can fight over them for days! kai is the princess of cheap joy.
my girls can play all day long, wrapping toys and giving them to each other, pretending it's "birthday day" LOL
most of kai's favorite toys are cheap. the little ones are easy. it's when they get older and learn the concept of financial status that you start to have to fight to keep your kid's head in the real world...
