Im sure atleast 90% of people agree that keeping guns out of the hands of felons is a pretty good idea However the reasoning for the law to me dosent make any sense The second ammendment leaves all gun control laws up to the state congress dose however have the power to regulate interstate commerce and it is threw this power that they have outlawed guns for felons in Stevens v. United States (1971) The sixth curcuit court of appeals said "There can be no serious doubt that the possession of fireamrs by convicted felons is a threat to inter state commerce" and that "the total dislocation of commerce befor it may provide reasonable preventative measures" Now to me atleast, this dosent make any sense, your thougts?
