Ammonite Fossil Choker

    Ammonite, which means coiled horn, was an air breathing invertebrate. Ammonites flourished throughout the Masozoic Era, about 250 million years ago!

    This choker is made from hemp, wooden beads, and a special fossil.

    i got it at a neat little shop that makes handmade soap, paper lanterns, ect.
    it was a pretty good find :D

    Awesome! Ammonites are cool... I'm a geology major, and while paleontology has become boring to study, I love looking at fossils still. Ammonites are some of my favs!

    i don't know...maybe i'm just a nerd (lol). i've always been fascinated with geology,paleontology and anthropology. :D

    Me too! I plan on getting a field archeology degree ONE DAY... Paleo is neat, but the whole systematics side of it is BORING....

    will do! i think im going to wrap one of mine with wire.. Did you go by a pattern for your hemp one?
