Do you always get 100% females from 'Feminized seeds'? If not, how often do you get a male plant from 'Feminized' seeds?

I dont want to pay top dollar for a 'Dial-A-Bride' and end up with a 'Shemale'.

One thing you are guarenteed besides high cost is hermies(bananas) in late flower if seeds were feminized via rodelization.Dont waste your money.Make your own seed stock or carry on a choice female via cloning.

A friend of mine paid top $$$ for (feminized) seeds. After germinating them, 3 were male.

I agree with Meangreen. Have read many reports about feminised seeds being hermied.

I myself don't believe in buying feminized seeds from what ive heard about Cannabis evolution.

Cannabis isnt determined to be just a male or female from seed to finish.

Sure when seed set/ ovulation takes place it is male or female, but after that environment plays a huge role.

To say genetics is everying for Cannabis is like saying heart disease is just genetic. Now how true is that? Sure to some extent, but alot of it has to do with diet which is environmental. Heart disease for instance isnt just genetic. Alot of it has to do with diet which is environmental. Same applies to Cannabis. Cannabis seeds can be female but environmental conditions can change that.

I have tried Northern Lights and only used 3 seeds and all 3 were female. I think under indoor conditions u can get more females since u can give ideal environments.

Outdoors i think u get more male plants.

It depends also how the seeds were feminised. I find in an all female crop you can find an odd seed or two which will be almost certainly female.

Why do most start out with seeds ?

A buddy of mine while in school grow one plant at a time in his dorm closet
Each time it turned out great.

    He got a grow light.
    1-female plant cutting.
    2 pots 1-medium1-bigger one.
All organic soil by Black Gold.
and stuff to give boost to grow, vitamins stuff to get it started.

By passing the seed part it cuts time out
Before the clubs clipping were here sold all day just got to look.

Most "Newb's" don't know nuthin' 'bout no clonin'!!! Even if they did have access, which they probably don't. There is such a great variety of seeds available these days it just makes sense to start out with seeds. Anyone with medical access to a cannabis club that offers clones should take advantage of that. Otherwise; growers are pretty much isolated and on their own, so seeds are the only choice.
